A ready-made steel casing and burner that builds straight into a wall or media wall, open to the front and one side, so the flame wraps round a corner. Choose the casing width and the burner, from simple manual to app-controlled or log-effect.

Montreal is Decoflame's modular built-in fireplace: a black steel casing, front glass and burner supplied together, so the builder only needs a correctly sized cut-out. This version is open to the front and one side, so the flame wraps round a corner.

Heat output and minimum room size by burner

Minimum room sizes are from the Decoflame price list for each burner. Heat output is the manufacturer figure where one is published; others are TBC, awaiting TÜV testing.

Safety and ventilation

Bio-ethanol fires burn real fuel and use oxygen from the room, so ventilation matters. Use the fire only in a room at least as large as the manufacturer's minimum room size, keep the room ventilated while it burns, never refill while the burner is alight or still warm, use only bio-ethanol fuel made for fireplaces, and keep the clearances in the Decoflame installation manual.

What is included?

The black steel casing, the burner you choose and the glass. Electronic burners also come with a remote control and quick-connect fuel pump.

Which burner should I choose?

The manual burner is the simplest and lowest-cost. Denver F3 adds electronic flame control by remote, Denver F6 adds app control, and LogicWood adds a ceramic log set.

Can I have a custom finish?

Yes. Copper, brass or any RAL colour on the casing and burner top plate are available at a price on application.

Does it need a chimney?

No. Bio-ethanol needs no flue, but the room must be ventilated and meet the burner's minimum room size.

How much heat does it give out?

It depends on the burner. Decoflame gives up to 5.7 kW for the Denver F6 1120, up to 3.2 kW for the Denver F6 720 and up to 2.9–5.6 kW (manufacturer figure) for LogicWood. Other burners are TBC, awaiting TÜV testing.
