Table-Top Bio-Ethanol Fires
A small, real flame you can move from room to room. Table-top bio-ethanol fires need no installation and no flue: just a stable, heat-resistant surface.
Place the fire on a level, heat-resistant surface, away from curtains, shelves and anything flammable, and out of reach of children and pets. Put it out with the shutter tool, and let it cool fully before refilling. Even a small fire needs a ventilated room.
Room size and ventilation. Every bio-ethanol fire has a manufacturer's minimum room size, shown on each product page where Decoflame publishes one (otherwise marked TBC). Use the fire only in a room at least that large, and keep it ventilated while the fire burns (an open trickle vent or slightly open window). Never refill a burner while it is alight or still warm, use only bio-ethanol fuel made for fireplaces, and keep the clearances in the installation manual.
