Planning Your Visit to Our Leeds Showroom
A visit to our Leeds showroom is the best way to see finishes in real light, compare products side by side and talk through your project with someone who knows the products well. This guide helps you plan that visit so you get the most from your time with us. For background on the showroom itself, our history and the services we offer, see our Leeds showroom page. This page is the practical companion to it: how to book, what to bring, which measurements matter and what you can expect to see.
Booking your appointment
The showroom at BMF Creative Interiors, 248 Meanwood Road, Leeds LS7 2HZ is open by appointment only. Booking ahead means the right member of the team is free when you arrive and, where it helps, that relevant samples or display models are ready for you.
- Phone: 0113 266 0096. Lines are open 9am–4pm, Monday to Friday.
- Email: info@bmfonline.co.uk. Tell us what you are interested in and a few times that suit you.
When you book, let us know whether your visit is about a kitchen, a bathroom, a fire or stove, steel doors or a combination. Larger projects such as a full kitchen or bathroom deserve a longer slot, so mention this and we can plan accordingly. If weekday times are difficult, ask about out-of-hours appointments.
What to bring
The more we know about the room, the more useful your visit will be. Ideally, bring:
- Room measurements, including ceiling height and the positions of doors, windows and radiators.
- Photographs of the space from several angles, plus close-ups of the chimney breast, existing fireplace or doorway if relevant.
- Plans or drawings from your architect or builder, even if they are only early sketches.
- Inspiration images of finishes, colours or styles you like (and any you definitely do not).
- Practical details, such as whether you have a working chimney, a gas supply nearby, or whether building work is planned.
- A rough budget and timescale, so we can steer you towards products that fit.
Key measurements by project
Fires and stoves
Measure the width, height and depth of the fireplace opening and the chimney breast, and the height from the floor to the ceiling. Note whether the chimney is lined and whether there is an existing hearth. If you are considering a stove in Leeds, read our guide to smoke control areas and choosing a stove before your visit.
Kitchens
Measure every wall, the ceiling height, and the positions of windows, doors, radiators, boiler and existing plumbing and electrics. If a range cooker is on your list, note the width you have available. Our kitchen planning guide covers this in more detail.
Bathrooms
Record the room dimensions, ceiling height (and any slopes), window position and where the soil pipe and existing supplies sit.
Steel and glass doors
Measure the structural opening, not the existing door, and bring photographs of both sides. Our guide to steel doors in Yorkshire explains the measuring and ordering process.
What you can see
The showroom covers more than 5,500 sq ft, with displays across our main product areas:
- Kitchens, including range cookers such as Lacanche.
- Bathrooms, spas and wellness.
- Fires and fireplaces, including wood-burning and multi-fuel stoves, gas stoves, electric fires and bioethanol fires, plus media walls.
- RK steel and glass doors, with display doors you can open and close.
Displays change from time to time, so if there is a particular model you want to see, mention it when you book and we will confirm whether it is on show.
Getting here and parking
The showroom is on Meanwood Road, on the outskirts of Leeds city centre. Our showroom page lists free parking, and recommends the postcode LS7 2HG for sat nav.
After your visit
Following your appointment, we can prepare quotations or design proposals based on what you have chosen. Keep a note of any model names and finishes you liked, and send over any measurements you were missing on the day.
