Choose the door type

Internal steel doors are available as hinged, pivot, sliding, pocket and bi-folding designs, and fixed glass and steel partitions let you divide a space without losing light. For outside openings, see RK03 external steel windows and doors.

Fire-rated steel doors

Where an opening needs fire protection, FD30 fire-rated steel doors are available in two styles: the RK03 Classic FD30 and the slimmer RK03 Ultra Slim FD30.

Made to measure

Each RK door is made to measure. Typical lead times are 8–12 weeks, and a confirmed delivery date is provided once the factory approves your order, usually within two weeks of ordering. Choose a bar layout

Each door type is available in five glazing bar styles: RK02 with two horizontal bars for a minimal look, RK03 with three bars in classic Crittall-style proportions, RK04 with four bars, RK05 with a full multi-pane grid, and RK06 with a geometric, asymmetric pattern. Keeping one style throughout a home gives a coordinated look.

Fire and sound performance

RK’s FD30 doors, in Classic and Ultra Slim profiles, provide FD30 integrity performance: they are designed to hold back fire for 30 minutes. Your building control officer will confirm what each opening needs. For home offices and studios, hinged doors are also available in a 36dB acoustic version.

Finishes and warranty

Frames come in six standard colours or any RAL colour, with metallic finishes and Farrow & Ball or Little Greene colour matching also available, as well as RK’s Liquid Metal coating. RK provides a 10-year warranty on the powder coating and glass.

Do you install RK steel doors outside Yorkshire?
Yes. We supply and install RK steel doors across the UK.

Are RK fire doors rated for 30 minutes?
RK’s Classic and Ultra Slim FD30 doors provide FD30 integrity performance, designed to hold back fire for 30 minutes. Building control should confirm what each opening requires.

Are RK external steel doors secure?
Yes. RK external steel windows and doors are Secured by Design and PAS24 accredited.

Can a steel and glass door reduce noise?
Yes. RK hinged doors are available in a 36dB acoustic version, which suits home offices and studios.
